The 2010 OFSAA Women's Sport School was held on May 13th and14th, 2010 at Humber College North Campus in Toronto. This conference is a professional development event that brings together teacher-coaches from across the province to share ideas and get motivated. The program encompasses a wide variety of sessions for both curricular and co-curricular programs with sessions geared to high school and elementary school teachers. The aim of the Women’s Sport School is to increase participants’ knowledge in several areas of school sport, expose them to new/unconventional sports, teaching methods, as well as provide opportunities for discussion groups with peers.
Total Defense was invited to the OFSAA Women’s Sport School Conference and presented a Total Boot Camp Session. We had a fun experience and look forward to returning in 2011.
